The House That Hank Built

So far new Yankee Stadium has been a $1.5 billion disaster. Let's take a look at some of the problems:

All this great news for Red Sox fans and it's only May of year one for the new Stadium; this could be the gift that keeps on giving.

After the 2004 win we were heartily sick of both the "1918" chant and the entitled attitude that went with it. So, we wished on the Yankees the same kind of curse & drought that we Red Sox fans had felt for all those years.

Whether you believe in curses or not, any true Sox fan has got to be enjoying a bit of Schadenfreude at the debacle that are the current Yankees.

They only have 77 more years of this to go. Enjoy, Hank!

only an idiotic redsox blog/fan would bashthe best stadium in baseball. meanwhile they play in that ridiclous little leauge field every night. get off the NYY jock already blowsox fans

The blowsox are a second rate franchise, playing in a second rate stadium, based in a second rate city. NYY will never have a ridiclous losing drought like them because they have a history of winning (not losing). NYY have more rings in the last 10 years that the blowsox have in the last 90! The next NYY dynasty will begin this October...i hope you will all enjoy the show.

umm Batman, the Yankees and Red Sox both have 2 rings in the last 10 years, in the last 5 years the Red Sox have 2 and the Yankees have none.

If it's the best stadium in baseball, why are there so many empty seats?

Yankee Stadium might be a brand new, sterile, sanitized, high rise condo, but that would make Fenway Park a stately renovated Victorian mansion.

Too bad I won't be around in 2086 to see the Yankees win their next WS.

Hah hah, sounds likes SPANKEES fans are taking out their frustrations out on blogs and other internet properties instead of the real culprits, the Steinbrenners. How do you like your almost $1 billion team?

The red Sox are from LA? When did that happen?

Is there anything out there more lame than someone referring to the Yankees as the "Spankees"? I'm going to go with no.

Lamer than "Spankees"? How about "Blowsox"? Yup, pretty equally lame there.

That stadium is a joke. Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of folks, though. Yankee fans are swell guys, generally speaking.

Touche - yeah agreed, Blowsox is just as bad, if not worse...
