Dear Yankees Writers, Settle the Eff Down, You Have Not Won Anything Yet

Yes the Yankees are in first place and have taken a sizable lead in the division but that does not equal a turning of the tide in the rivalry and does not equal a World Series championship as some would have you believe. Take this joke of an article from John Harper in the NY Daily News:

the Yankees on the verge of burying the Red Sox deep in the standings with a four-game sweep, the Rivalry has taken a rather stunning turn back to more familiar Yankee dominance.

And it's at least partly because the Yankees, for a change, are winning the battle of the front offices. Going back to the winter when he swooped in to steal Mark Teixeira from the Red Sox, Cashman this year is outmaneuvering Theo.

I guess when you have won nothing in almost ten years, it must feel good to enjoy a little success. OK, so the Yankees are dominating the Sox during the last three weeks, but I agree with the post. Settle down until you have something concrete in hand.

Then don't "Eff"ing read their articles. FYI, Cashman HAS been better than Theo and it's showing this year. 56% of the Yankees are homegrown compared to Boston's 48%. About the money... when big contracts never worked out for us(giambi, brown, johnson etc.) there were no complaining by sox fans but now that it IS working out all the haters come out right? By your logic of "spending money to get rings" we should have won at least 4 rings in the last decade. LOL, I loved this article though because it really let's me know that the sox fans KNOW that they are in trouble. Oh and you wanna talk injuries and use it as an excuse? Half our team was injured last year but no one used that as an excuse like you are for your team.

AHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHH "The Yankees will have many players that will be past their prime next year or they will need to replace including: Damon, Jeter, Posada, Rivera, Matsui, and Pettitte." This is Matsui, Damon and Pettitte's final year dumbass. Austin Jackson(another homegrown player) is taking Damon's place. Francisco Cervelli(another homegrown plater) is catching most of the time next year while Posada DHs. Phil Hughes(yet another home grown player) is taking Pettitte's place. Jeter, Posada and Rivera? Really? Every year haters say that about the core guys but every year they prove you wrong. Look up some stats before you type like a fool.

Talk when you win something this century. Something does not mean a series. It means a world title.
