Wake Gets Rocked

The Red Sox jumped out to a 4-0 quick lead when Bay hit his 10th home run of the season. By the end of the 2nd the Sox had a 4 run lead but things went south in a hurry. Wake struggled in the bottom of the third giving up a single, walk, single, single, and then a home run by Napoli. The Angels had a one run lead and that was all they would need because Matt Palmer became untouchable after that point. The Red Sox could not get anything going for the rest of the game while the Halos added 4 more. Daniel Bard looked impressive in his first appearence; striking out the first batter he faced with a 98 MPH fastball.
