The Red Sox Should Feast on Today's Starter for the Mariners

Garrett Olsen is 0-4 with a 7.76 ERA in his career against the Red Sox and he doesn't sound too confident going into today's game:

"The Red Sox are traditionally a patient ballclub, so it's important to get ahead and establish the (strike) zone early," Olson said Friday. "Whereas if you fall behind, it's going to be a long day versus that team. Or it could be short …"

Jeff Bailey hit a home run off of him the last time he faced him and Julio Lugo is batting .417 off of him in 12 AB's. Olsen is making a spot start for Erik Bedard

Let's hope that history repeats itself. Let's also hope that the Red Sox don't continue to beat themselves.

Let's hope we can get it done and beat a team on paper that we are supposed to dominate.

On paper the Sox should have swept this series.

Beckett looked better in his last start so he may have turned the corner.
