Youk Sets Record For Most Consecutive Games at 1st Without an Error

Yesterday Kevin Youkilis overtook Steve Garvey for the most consecutive games without an error at first base. Youk has gone 194 games without booting a ball. He has had 1,628 chances at first and is 73 chances away from breaking the record of most chances at first without an error. (currently held by Red Sox first baseman Stuffy McInnis from 1921-22). For those of you that were wondering, Youk was 7 years old when the ball rolled through Buckner's legs so he might have had it if he were in the game.
