Manny Being Manny

It was only a matter of time. Sooner or later Manny was going to talk about his future with the Red Sox. He gave a glimpse into his thinking about his '09 plans yesterday.

His statement is vintage Manny:

"I don't know. We're going to see. They want me to stay, I stay; if not, I want to move on. My meaning is I want to become a free agent after '08 and move on. It don't matter. If I be here, I be here, if not, I'm fine. If it's not here, it's someplace else."


...now that clears it up.
