Red Sox to Celebrate Earth Day

When the Red Sox play the Angels on Earth Day (Tuesday) they will be wearing a special green patch on their sleeves to mark the occasion. In addition to the patch the Sox will be given an Environmental Merit Award by the EPA for the "green" changes they made to Fenway in the off season. Representatives from the NRDC and EPA will throw out the first pitch.
