Time To Give Masterson A Try

Schilling is not coming back any time soon and Buchholz has struggled, so has Lester for that matter. The Red Sox have nothing to lose by bringing Justin Masterson up for a few starts until Buchholz can get some control back. Masterson currently has a 1.29 ERA with the Sea Dogs. During Spring Training he pitched well in his 2 games with a 2.25 ERA. There is not much to lose by doing this for a limited time until you can get some quality starts from Colon, Schilling, Lester or Buchholz. The current plan is not working, why not take a chance on Masterson?
