Lowell is Back

Mike Lowell took the field for the first time since he was sidelined in the ALCS due to his hip injury. From Extra Bases:

With runners on second and third, Lowell struck out swinging on three pitches. He took the first pitch from Brian Bass for a strike, fouled the second one off, then reached out on an awkward swing for a low and outside pitch that couldn't sniff the strike zone. The plan was for him to get two at bats in this game.

The Red Sox really need Mike Lowell to be at full strength when the season starts, he has plenty of time to get his swing worked out before opening day.
