Buchholz Wins Again

Buchholz went seven innings giving up three runs on six hits, including a two-run homer in the win. He had 5 K's and no walks in the outing, throwing 82 pitches (57 for strikes.) With Smolz having just 2 rehab starts left before he returns and Buchholz pitching well, Penny's days in Boston might be numbered.

Who's that shortstop with the big bat that might be available? Maybe Penny, and one of the prospect arms, but only if they take Lugo!

I think attaching Lugo to anything is a deal killer. But I do think they need to fix the problem at short, Lowrie is a better defensive player but I don't think he is a huge upgrade at short.
