Red Sox DFA Lugo

Nobody wanted to take Lugo away from Boston so now he must choose if he wants to report to the PawSox or become a free agent.

The team still has 10 days to try and work out a trade with another team. Doubtful it will work out, but since the Sox would pay a majority of his contract, it's an option.

SEE YA Lugo. I have looked forward to the day that Lugo was not a member of the Sox for a long time.

I just don't see any team trading for him, the Sox have been trying to deal him for a month and even with paying his salary there were no takers. 10 more days won't matter. I kinda feel bad for the guy but he is going to make $13 mil either way so I don't feel too bad.

shit, i'd take 10 mill not to play... that would be a bargain
