Flush Twice, It's a Long Way to Texas

I read the above headline in a bathroom stall in Alaska several years ago and it seems appropriate today. The Sox are headed to Houston; home of Enron, George H.W. Bush Airport, and Roger Clemens*. Interleague play can sometimes make sense and be interesting but it is hard to get excited about playing the Astros. I wonder how many Sox blogs or newspaper stories are going to go with the "Houston, We Have A Problem" headline if Boston loses a game there? Houston is so caught up in the Shaun Chacon incident the city hardly notices the World Champs are coming to town, or maybe they are not the brightest of baseball fans. Take a look at what some typical Astros fans are like as they talk about Chacon. Oh those silly Texans, they make me laugh, especially the Barbara Bush look-a-like about 30 seconds into the video. FYI -Ed Wade is the GM that fired Tito in Philly.

"The Sox are headed to Houston; home of Enron, George H.W. Bush Airport, and Roger Clemens*."

So, in other words, it's home to frauds, liars and criminals of ALL types!
