seems like the Sox and Rays have had more than a few tiffs over the years... i think this could tunr into a great rivalry... but right now I think they really need to keep guys healthy and out of trouble... we see the Rays again to start July... should be interesting.

I like Papelbon's attitude, and I'd love to see some revenge, BUT, I'd rather not see anyoen get hurt, or see a guy like Papelbon have to serve a suspension. No one even noticed that Lester already served his - a guy like Papelbon missing for 5 games could hurt!

If the Sox are really out for revenge I would doubt they would wait until Paps was in during a close game...they might have someone like Lopez or Delcarmen throw a bean ball at Gomes and hope Tek can tackle him before he gets to the mound.

FW - I'm with you on that - just reacting to Pap's comments - he sounds like he might be interested in exacting his own revenge.

You know what though - I like the idea of him getting in their heads and maybe making them get worried about one of his 99 mph fastballs whizzing right at them!
