El Gordo was still feeling pain when he was throwing on flat ground and was told to take two days off. His return to the rotation will be delayed until a few weeks after the All-Star break at best.

The Sox have already gotten out of Colon more than anyone could expected when he was unsigned in February. And if he can make any more starts, they're all a bonus. The Sox already have the luxury of moving a starter with a sub-4 ERA out of the rotation and into the pen, even without Colon.
With Clay starting on Friday, Colon will not be a sure thing for a while. Soxlosophy is exactly right...4 wins.
