Lester Leads the Way

Jon Lester is just plain great at Fenway this season. Today he dominated the Jays batters getting ground ball outs (mostly to Mike Lowell) as well as 6 Ks. He went 8 innings only giving up 4 hits and 1 earned run. Papelbon came in for the 9th and continued his recent struggles giving up 2 runs on three hits. It could have been worse since the Red Sox caught a break on a bad call at second when Overbay clearly beat the tag. Coco went 2-3 and Big Papi had a triple in the game.

Red Sox Win 4-3 BOX SCORE
