Jon Lester is Ready To Put the Sox Back On Top

Tito did not look like a genius on Saturday but having Jon Lester start today may make people get back in his corner. Lester is 11-1 at Fenway this season with an ERA of 2.49. In his last start at Fenway he went 7 innings and only gave up 4 hits. The start before that he wen 6 innings and only gave up 2 hits. (I was lucky enough to be at that game) The only variable is that this is a day game where his ERA is higher than it is for night. The home crowd and the absense of cowbells should be a welcome respit for the next few days and with some breaks going the right way, a trip back to the Trop may not be necessary.
