Jordan's Furniture Faces Lawsuit
Last year a bunch of people got free furniture when the Red Sox won the World Series, this year they needed to sweep for people to win. It seems an overconfident fan by the name of Gisela Levin bought $4600 worth of furniture this season and once the Sox got bounced wants to find a way to get some free stuff....enter the lawyers. She has field a class action lawsuit against Jordans.
The suit is claiming breach of contract against the Taunton-based chain because the promotion, based on chance, violates a state law prohibiting promotional lotteries, Yasi alleges.
Promotions based on the chance of winning prizes offered by places such as McDonald’s, Dunkin’ Donuts and Burger King comply with the law because customers can participate in the promotion without having to buy anything, he said.

gdfn barristers! grrrrrrr.......
She is no Red Sox Fan. All she wants is publicity and free furniture. I know her personally. She is a sick woman. There should be a gag order on her and her lawyer. She should go back to Peru where she belongs. If she thought the promotion was illegal, she never should have bought the furniture. Her lawyer is an idiot. Doesn't he have anything better to do?
Another case of a poor loser......She played the game and lost. Now she's whining!!!!!
