Red Sox License Plates in RI?

You can show your team support in Massachusetts with a Red Sox license plate and soon may be able to in Rhode Island.


The Providence Journal reports that a House committee on Thursday approved bills that would allow the state to create license plates bearing either the Boston Red Sox or New England Patriots logos.

They now go to the full House. Similar legislation is moving through the Senate.

The plates would benefit both the state and charities. Drivers could purchase the plates for a $40 charge on top of the standard registration fee. Half the additional fee would go to the state and half to charity—either the Jimmy Fund


Now if we could just get Arnold to do the same out here in California.
