7 in a Row with Sweep of Twinkies

Maybe it was the rain, or the green uniforms, or even the Chicken Man (the Sox have won 7 in a row since the voodoo was called on); whatever it was it brought more luck to the Red Sox. Brad Penny recovered somewhat from his last disastrous outing to get the W tonight. The Sox only had 5 hits in the game but they took advantage of baserunners and put 7 runs on the board. The bullpen was great once again; RR, Oki, and Paps didn't allow a baserunner. Boston has an off day tomorrow and enters a series with the Evil Empire on Friday.
