It Ain't Over 'Til the Beard of Truth Hits

In a typical Red Sox/Yankees marathon, the game went long and would not be decided until late in the night. Lester and Joba started the game but neither would factor in the final decision. Lowell, Bay and Pedroia all flashed some serious leather to keep the team in the game. The game was frustrating on so many levels; Ortiz earned a golden sombrero with 4 K's, J.D. Drew hit into 2 double plays in an 0-4 night with 8 LOB. The FAILHAT seemed to be at it again until the Yankee closer took the mound. In the bottom of the 9th Youk singled with one out and Jason Bay tied up the game with a two run homer over the Monster. The game stayed tied until the 11th when Youk hit a walk-off homer onto Lansdowne Street. The Beard of Truth has spoken.
