El Gordo Gets Sent Down

Bartolo "el Gordo" Colon was sent to minor league camp today after starting 2 Grapefruit League games for the Red Sox. On Tuesday Colon was shelled by the Yankees sealing his fate for the start of the season. He was able to reach speeds on his fastball that many thought he would not obtain after his injury but his control suffered. With some work in the minors he should be able to return to the club by mid-season.
