Red Sox DROP Game to Tribe
The streak is over at 11. Brad Penny was bad. Again. He went 2 2/3 giving up 7 hits, 4 walks and 7 runs (4 earned). The Red Sox offense bailed him out with 7 early runs but Lugo's throwing error allowed the Indians to tie it up. In the bottom of the 9th the Indians scored the winning run on a grounder to Youk. He fielded it and underhanded it to Javi Lopez who dropped the ball allowing the winning run to score. A very tough loss because of the sloppy D and bad starting pitching. Both teams threw over 200 pitches and the game went over 4 hours.

Brad Penny continues to suck the fat one...
Is it possible that Lugo was actually a worse aquisition than Eric Gagne?
A stupid end to a stupid game.
at this point I think Penny might be the worse acquisition, at least Tito took Lugo out before he could blow the game. Javi also joins the don't let the door hit you on the way out club.
Penny's makin' room for Smoltz.
Lopez has been worth it, mostly.
I thought Lugo gave his old 2 error glove to Green, but maybe Green gave it back?
(I didn't watch this game.)
Well, the streak had to end sometime. Better Penny than Wake.
javi really screwed us with his carelessness but the real donk is Penny....This guy better figure it out quickly or get injured because we have way better pitching all thru our farm and team.... I SAY GIVE BUCKHOLTZ OR MASTERSON THE BALL EVERY 5 DAYS (once diceK is back!)
