The Rays Have the Red Sox Number

Before last night's game the Rays had only won one series; the opening week series against the Red Sox. Tonight's game went the way most of the recent games have against the Rays: poorly. Masterson started out pretty well until the wheels came off in the 5th. The Rays loaded the bases and then Longoria hit a grand slam followed by a homer from Pena. Just like that the Red Sox were down 6-2 and that is the way it would stay. Mr. Clutch Jason Bay did not come through in 7th as he watched strike three sail across the plate. Ortiz is still looking for his first home run and Ellsbury went 0-5 at the top of the order. If you are looking for a silver lining, here it is: MDC and RR still have ERA's of 0.00.
