It's the Skunk's Fault
Last week I wrote a post about the skunk that came onto the field in Portland after Big Papi left the game. The post was entitled "Let's Hope It's Not a Bad Omen." Since that point the Sox have lost 4-5 including 2 to the dreaded Yankees, have had the whole Manny debacle, and were almost no-hit yesterday. We need some sort of exorcism to get the team back on track.

OK, I'm back in CA. Let's hope that's a good sign b/c I'm never going back east when the skanks are at Fenway. They lost 2/3 this year, and 2 years ago was that massacre from hell. So I figure if I publicly declare that, then the Sox are officially starting anew.
If I'm not mistaken, wasn't it in 2004 that they got off to a roaring start, then played .500 for 2-3 months before finishing up strong? Well, they're going to finish strong again this year. TB will fold, and the new hankee acquisitions will not pan out.
Don't forget Aardsma and Colon will be back soon, and Lugo won't!
