Big Papi Welcomes Jason Bay to the Team

Do you think the atmosphere is more relaxed in the clubhouse now?

I do think that the mood is much more relaxed now that Bay is a member of the Sox and Manny isn't. Even though Manny may have been relaxed himself, his presence was not beneficial for the mood in the dugout. Bay, who brings a positive attitude and hard work ethic with him, is sure to make the Red Sox a better and, in the end, a more relaxed team.

I really like your Red Sox blog and would appreciate it if you checked out my sports blog at:

Keep up the good writing

The mood in the clubhouse may be more relaxed, but how is Papi feelin' with his main man, his bro', his friend Manny not there anymore? His numbers since Aug 1st aren't too happy :-(

Maybe Papi needs to ask his bro why he acted like such an a**, why he had such little respect for his team mates, why he caused so much termoil in the club house to get his way, and finally WHY HE ACTED LIKE A SELF-CENTERED, SPOILED BRAT? Was 20 Million a year not enough, or did he finally figure it out that if the Red Sox picked up his 2 options, the chances of him getting a 4 year contract following would be about the same chance of Boston having 90 degree weather for Xmas!!!! If Papi wants to blame anyone all he has to do is talk to his main man, his bro, his friend Manny!!!!!
