Houdini Does It Again

Dice-K looked like he was going to have another short outing after getting a little wild and loading the bases in the first, but he once again found a way to get out of the jam. Even though he walked 4 he was in control for 7 innings (6 of them without giving up a hit) getting 7 K's. Shields looked good for the Rays going 7 1/3 and giving up 2 earned runs while striking out 6. The Red Sox offense missed some opportunities but Youk went 3-4 with a RBI. Ellsbury was 0-5 at the top of the order. Okajima and Masterson pitched a perfect 8th and Papelbon had a perfect 9th to close out the game.
