The Mets Are Trying to Steal "Sweet Caroline"

Maybe it was to get ready for the series with the Red Sox or maybe they want to create Mets Nation, whatever the reason the Mets are playing "Sweet Caroline" during the 8th inning at the new Citi Field. Mets fans are not happy and have booed the song as it plays. I love how the guy towards the end of this video yells "Go Boston!" as the song plays.

That is so wrong! I wonder whose boneheaded idea it was to play that there. Hopefully they've been fired.

I think the Mets fans are doing the right think by booing this. Who is on the Mets' PR staff? First the flap over the Doc Gooden signature and now this.

I say let 'em have the song and let the Sox find a new one. SC has about run it's course, IMHO.
