Bud Says Replay Coming Sept 1st
Instant replay will be used in all ballparks starting Sept. 1 as long as there are no technical difficulties. Replays will only be used for boundary issues for home runs. My question is why now? Why not wait until the start of next season? I am against replay in baseball but if you are going to do it, do it right. Let the problems be worked out during spring training not during the last month of the season when teams are in the middle of a pennant race. More Bud being Bud.

I vote yes on the instant replay, no on the mid-season implementation of the new rule.
I hope there is a time limit on reviewing the play. The technology is here, the genie's out of the lamp, and it ain't goin' back in. We've witnessed far too many blown calls by umps NOT to accept this.
