What Happens When Wake Comes Back?
So Clay is still in the rotation, and Byrd is now with the team but what happens when Wake comes back? I think that Buchholz will be joining the pen after his next start if Wake comes off the DL as scheduled and Byrd will remain in the rotation. What then becomes of Bartolo 'el Gordo' Colon? Does the month of September become another spring training to see who is the 5th starter?

Once the roster expands, I think you'll see a number of guys get starts in September. Clay will be in the mix, but if Wake comes bacj, he will be too, becuase they may want to have Wake on the postseason roster... Colon will probably get a shot as well, but you have to wonder what the point would be... he's not likely to be with teh Sox again next year, so they'd really just be giving him a free audition for 2009...

You can never have too many good pitchers.
Maybe they can trade Colon to the Yankees, but make them take Lugo as part of the deal!!
