Sox Get Paul Byrd From Tribe
The ProJo is reporting that the Sox have acquired pitcher Paul Byrd for a player to be named later from Cleveland. Byrd will help fill the back end of the rotation for the Red Sox now that Wake is on the DL and Buchholz has struggled as a starter. Byrd is 7-10 with a 4.53 ERA this season. The Red Sox announced that Byrd would start on Friday, Buchholz was scheduled to make that start so this may signal Clay's move to the pen.

I think he will end up in the Pen but he may go to the PawSox until rosters expand.
