Cheese
Am I the only one who thinks Eck's cheese references are getting to be a bit too much? He said 'cheese' twice in the last inning. I (think I) like him, and I definitely prefer NESN to the Fox, TBS, ESPN, and the local SF Bay Area stations when the Sox play Oakland, but someone needs to drop him into a vat of Velveeta. Eck! Enough with the cheese already!

I spent a couple of weeks at home in New England this summer, and I have to admit that I like Eck and the cheese. I know any good line can be overplayed, but it is still gouda for me.
I too like the cheese...especially when he throws in the "hair cheese with gas."

Whenever you get tired of the "cheese" references just remember we could have it a lot worse.
I have not got sick of the cheese reference as of yet. Most likely that is because when he is not on the broadcast Dave Roberts is in the booth. I could take it two or three times a game, but three times every two innings (or more) was beginning to bug me. I agree though, that it's still much better watching the Sox on NESN than all the other stations mentioned in my post.
